  1. Love that fairy plant. The blooms are really unique. We’re on the edge of that winter storm moving through the country. Snow and way below freezing temps. I’m layering and most likely staying inside. This cold is a new thing for me.

  2. Wow, I LOVE the many beautiful plants you have on your property, Elizabeth!! Lovely. The Firestick is so cool but don’t touch, wow. The Fairy Duster is amazing! Can you fence your property off to keep those critters out?

  3. Today I’m meeting a friend for a tour of a historical synogogie. Movie tonight. Moma tomorrow. Dinner with friends tomorrow evening. Supposed to see a movie on Sunday but let’s see how weather pans out. Lovely photos!!

  4. I always enjoy plants! Hope you had a nice get-together with your friend. No big weekend plans here. I’ve been putting in too much work time and with try doing some painting today.

  5. Pretty flowers! Glad you are taking it easy and healing. Hope the pain gets less and less each day.
I agree about reconnecting with friends from different phases of life. 🙂

  6. I’m glad you are able to take this time to rest, relax and heal; what a blessing.
I love your plants, especially the Fairy Duster. How aptly named. I recall having Mesquite trees when we lived in the Dallas area; other than that, I’d not heard of them until your post.
I hope you enjoy your time with your cohort, Swim Mom.

    • It’s been one week and I’m feeling no pain. Just tired. It was so much fun to see my fellow swim mom and her amazing daughter and son-in-law. We do see the kids more often because they live closeby.
