Kitten Olive with her best friend Angus, may they both rest in peace.
It’s been a sad few days for me. But I’m forcing myself to go outside and walk. I also spent time going through all the Olive photos on my iphone. I’m sharing some of my favorites here today.

Olive found herself locked in the car. I have no idea how that happened. She was deathly afraid of cars and hated them.

Oh EA, this breaks my heart. It is so hard to lose a pet member of the family. Olive was a lady with a clear personality for sure. My favorites were always the ones of her sitting in the empty suitcases before you planned to travel. She didn’t need any words to convey exactly what she was thinking.

While my heart is breaking for you and the loss of your beautiful Olive, I had to smile at the video. She looks so blasé at something that would drive our feline stark raving mad with frustration.

I’m so glad I recorded some of Olive’s quail encounters. I love the toilet paper tantrum. That was a regular occurrence and then it magically stopped.
She reminds me of an elegant character in a stand alone novel! My lady, Sheba, passed away a few years ago as she was caught in traffic outside. Our pug and I discovered her on our walk. It was very sad but for the long time she was with us as an outside save-her mom choose our home to have kittens in our backyard retreat-she had a great life! Sometimes that is the most you can do! Thanks for the share.
I’m sorry about your Sheba. I’ve had the same experience of discovering my cats. It’s not a pleasant experience. One was 17, Sherman, and he crossed the street to a vacant house across the street. The dog next door jumped the wall and Sherman wasn’t fast enough to get away.
Mr. D says they all are his favorites. I’m partial to the one with Olive and Angus. What a beautiful and precious cat she was! We’re sending lots of love!

I love the indoor Arizona one. They are all beautiful though. She was a gorgeous kitty. I am so sorry that you have lost her.
Thank you. Looking back over the past year, I realize now she was getting sick. But then she’d bounce back and I’d be so relieved. Until this past weekend.
I’m so sorry to hear about Olive. She was such a beauty with a fierce spirit. It’s so hard to lose a pet–they really are part of the family.
Thank you, Erin. It happened so quickly. I dropped her off at the vet and then got a phone call an hour later that her numbers on her liver and kidneys were 10 times too high.

It is. We love our pets as members of our family. The house feels so lonely. I wake up in the middle of the night, thinking I hear Olive munching on her Friskies.

Elizabeth I liked the photo of Olive in a negative mood because I remember her doing that stunt when I was using your guest room on a visit with you in Palm Springs. The last time I saw her which was in AZ she was so warm and welcoming to me. I am so sorry for your loss of Olive.

we lost 3 in the last 4 months, 2 unexpectedly. It was been 6 weeks and I still hear Pippi meowing.
