Broken toes

Here’s a video of my baby quail:

How do you entertain yourself, if you’re injured? Any suggestions?

  1. My periods of immobility were when I had different joint surgeries. I watched tv but my favorite was blogging. I hope your toes mend quickly. Hugs

  2. I had no idea you wandered around CT and NY in so much pain. You were a trooper to keep up! I don’t deal well with being immobile for long and have a tendency to push myself when I know better but fortunately significant injury is rare for me. Take care EA and enjoy your birds 🙂

  3. Oh I’m so sorry- my husband recently did something similar, and it has amazed us how something as small as a toe or two can cause such disruption. I like to craft when I’m sidelined, but it doesn’t burn much energy. Maybe you need a boxing bag- great upper body workout and you can put your frustration to work for you! Haha- I jest (sort of, unless you happen to have access to one?), but I hope you get better soon! You’re a week or so ahead of my hubby, if my assumed timeline is correct. As I pray for him, I’ll also pray for you!

    • Thank you for your prayers! I’ll have to think about the boxing bag. We could add it to our assorted weights and stationary bike! I’m sorry your husband is going through this too. It’s such a tiny thing, but so painful.

  4. Oh my goodness. It’s so easy to catch toes on furniture, isn’t it? I like your idea of noodling around in the pool…kicking…or just kicking back. 🥰 Take care!

  5. Toes are easy to break. So are fingers. Walking around in pain is horrible. I pulled my hamstring in Los Angeles once and I remember looking at the set of stairs to get to my daughter’s apartment and sobbing.
