This is one of the towers at Bella Sirena. They also have single story villas and beach front houses.
Here are some of the photos I took from our beach getaway. The first two days were super windy, but Saturday and Sunday were perfect. We stayed at Bella Sirena, which has towers A through D. We’ve stayed there before and love the amenities of tucked away pools and hot tubs in addition to the central large pool with pool bar and live music. The only downside to Bella Sirena is that the rooms on the ground floor don’t have ocean views. We prefer the ground floor to be able to walk out our room and not wait for elevators. But I’m sure the rooms higher up have spectacular views. In any case, we took several beach walks each day and I sat and read where I had an ocean view.

This is Sandy Beach at low tide. The water is warm and there aren’t any waves if there’s no wind.

Where I liked to hang out and read this past weekend. The ocean view pool.

This was our private patio outside our room. Another amazing place to hang out and read.

Another beach walk. Notice the waves? This was on a windy day.

The hot tub below our deck. It was 102 degrees hot! There was a cold plunge pool nearby.
Where’s your favorite place to relax and read a good book?
Wow! Looks a great place to vacation
It’s beautiful and an easy drive.
How lovely.
😊

That looks lovely! I do have a favorite big chair I love to read in at home. I am not one for reading much on vacation.
I have a comfy sofa in our casita where I like to read in the evenings.
I can understand why you like going south so much EA! It is beautiful there and has so much to offer, at least in what I would be looking for- food, lovely weather, quiet places, and endless beaches with no one on them!!!
That’s it exactly! I need my beach time to regenerate.
What a beautiful location! It looks like you had such a lovely time.😊
It really is unbelievable. Especially when it’s a quiet weekend.
Beautiful, thanks for taking us with you!
I’m glad you enjoyed the pics!
So nice!
I love it there! Maybe we’ll be expats years from now 😁
Amazing! I am packing my bags. LOL!
Favorite place to read? At the beach with an ocean view. 🙂
Yes. That’s my number one favorite place to read too! I now have sunglasses with bifocals to make that possible!
😎
😊
Oh my gosh…that private patio? Why would you need to leave it…ever? Well…the beach shots are pretty fab…and the food looked great yesterday…but still. Stunning! Thanks, Elizabeth for the vicarious travels you’re offering! 🥰
I think the patios at Bella Sirena really sold us on the place (and the pools and jacuzzis). We went with another couple in the fall and rented a two-bedroom and each bedroom had a huge patio with a common area in between outside the living room. It was double the size of this one.
I think you chose well!
🥰😎🥰
It’s interesting because each resort has a different vibe. The first time we went we stayed at our realtor’s condo complex. It’s the newest and most popular with the younger crowd. Way too much of a party scene for us! Our realtor isn’t a party guy and ended up selling.
Sounds like good decision-making to me! 😎😎😎

Wow – the ocean view pool looks perfect to sit by and read a book. I pick that one!! 🙂 Thanks for sharing these beautiful beach moments with us!
Yes, that’s my favorite pool. And the funny thing is I usually have it all to myself! My husband can’t sit out in the sun because he’s so fair. All the other guests are at the main pool with the live band.
It’s so beautiful!
It is. It was such a nice surprise to realize there was a beach close by our desert home.
Wonderful, fun in the sun!
It was a wonderful weekend. I love the Mexican culture and beaches so close to us.
My couch….
I have a couch in the casita that I sink into and read in the evenings.
It’s the ultimate fir me
