What’s up kitty cat?

What is your most favorite food and why?

If you’ve had dogs or cats, do you get stressed if they aren’t feeling well?

  1. Glad Olive is feeling better and training further the Olympic high jump. Me? I’m an absolute basket case when our pets are ill. And we had a cat who lived to almost 30 so poo on your neighbor.
    😉

  2. I’m glad Olive is back to normal. It seems clear that her behavior is stress related as she just can’t handle her people being gone, although it also gets harder for her as she ages. Much like a human trying to adjust to change I think. The food question made me pause and ponder. I don’t think I have a favorite food anymore actually. My diet has changed a lot over the years and my old favorites really aren’t a part of what I eat now.

    • Poor Olive. Yes she really takes it hard when we are gone. It’s going to make our vacations stressful or shorter. My favorite food I no longer get because of where I live. Dungeness crab.

  3. Woohoo @ Olive being back in form. That must be such a relief.

As for food, I appreciate what Sandra Boynton said “The greatest tragedies were written by the Greeks and Shakespeare…neither knew chocolate.” 😀

  4. SO pleased to hear Olive is better. It’s nerve racking when cats won’t eat, even though it’s a common reaction when they get stressed. With one of my previous cats, I’d try and tempt her with wet food, chicken, etc. Nowadays they have churru, but Boss Cat is such a good eater (i.e., relentless food thief) that I don’t often resort to it.

    • Thank you! Our cat sitter used churru in the past and this time it wasn’t working. Olive didn’t eat, drink, pee or poop for four days after I got home. I took her to the vet and they filled her with fluids which helped for a little bit. But it took her several weeks to be normal again. We got back mid-September. She’s finally feeling like a spry, happy member of the family.
