“Meet Me in St. Louis” is one of my favorite all time movies, especially at Christmas. Enjoy the beautiful voice of Judy Garland in “Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas.”
I remember my Aunt Linda visiting us in Palm Springs when my son was around four years old. He asked her to watch a movie with him. She was so surprised that it was “Meet Me in St. Louis” and thrilled it wasn’t Barney!

There’s such good acting in that movie from Judy Garland, Margaret O’Brien and Mary Astor to name a few of a great cast. Love the music, too.

Still waters run deep. This is the phrase that reminds me of her. Old time singers and stars had that mystique which made us wonder. We didn’t know too much about them and there were no selfies but we used our imagination.

We’re home after a week’s Christmas vacation. It’s good to be home, but a week with our kids and DIL was wonderful!

I tried to find it a few times this holiday season, but it wasn’t available to stream anywhere without a new subscription or a fee. Am I too cheap to spend money on a movie? I guess so. Maybe next year. I love that your son at four had such a great taste in movies.
I’ve enjoyed that movie for years. So many great scenes and characters. I guess it depends on what streaming services you have if you can watch it for free or not. My kids use Hulu where it’s free. It’s free on Tubi, which we don’t have. Then all the other sites like Prime it’s $3.99.
I used to check out movies for free at our local library. That’s where we found it when my son was four. A few year laters he asked me, “Do they make movies where people don’t sing and dance?”
