We took a Thursday evening beach walk at sunset.
This morning we woke up to this.
We headed south of the border yesterday for a weekend of beach walks, seafood, and enjoying the Sea of Cortez. What a joy to arrive in time for a beach walk at sunset. I was stunned this morning to wake up and see this magnificent sunrise from our room.

Do you like sunrises or sunsets more? Why?
My weekend: Waiting for the next snow front to arrive and double or triple layering to beat the cold. Sun rises and sets are about equal in my opinion. Both different but both gorgeous.
I prefer the Sea of Cortez over your snows! I think snow is gorgeous too, but I don’t like the cold.
Gorgeous. I like either but I think sunset over the beach is the best.
There’s something about being at the beach watching the sunset until the sun disappears.

I’ve spent time at the beach every summer. We’re discovering what the different seasons are like at the beach near us.

How delightful to be at the beach now! We have spectacular sunsets here that I enjoy much, but sunrise is my favorite time of day. The colors are more subtle, but still gorgeous. On top of that, I am grateful to still be here and have the day ahead of me.

Hmmm…we saw The Fabelmans on Friday. Had friends over Saturday for some college game that I paid no attention to, but I made a delicious gingerbread Bundt cake, and today we are seeing Harry Potter and the cursed child on Broadway which I’m looking forward to. Great pics btw
