This is the first picture I’ve gotten of our bobcat. When we had a home inspection done, the inspector went on the roof and said he found bones. The previous owners said, “That would be from the bobcat. He likes to sit on the patio roof over the pool.”
I’ve been a little nervous and have had a few fleeting sights of the bobcat slinking along the wall right outside our windows. My husband spotted him (her?) a few days ago and I watched from the casita as she sat and looked back at me. Our windows have a reflective coating, so I don’t think she really saw me. I’m calling her a she now because we’ve read that the males are much bigger and heavier than the females. This creature is about two feet tall and SKINNY!
Here are a few more of the interesting sights I saw over the weekend:

Here’s the bobcat walking away. She fits through our fence.
The Bobcat looks more like a cross between a domestic cat and a wild one.
It has a sweet face, doesn’t it? But it’s the standard bobcat size except skin and bones.
She’s a bobbiecat.
Do you have a dog or cat? She looks hungry.
We have an indoor cat. She’s not allowed outside since we moved here. Our new neighbors said small dogs and housecats won’t last an hour. When my daughter visited with her pug, we gave her strict commands to never let him outside without her.
As an owner of two dogs, both small, that bobcat scares me. But she (he?) is lovely. It is beautiful there. I love the landscape as it is so much different from where I live in The Midwest.
I also did not know saguaros had flower blossoms! How beautiful.
We are thankful our kitty no longer wants to be an outside cat! Aren’t the saguaros amazing?
So beautiful!
Lovely pics. The bobcat looks so cute…but yeah…
She was back yesterday hiding behind our bbq watching the birds. She fascinating to watch — from inside.
Agreed. I admit I’d be setting up a video camera to watch
We are talking about getting some wildlife activated cameras around. I’d love to see what is going on while we’re asleep!
I’d be enthralled with that!
